Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award

The Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award is given annually in memory of the late Wayne J. Wunder, security pioneer and founder of Continental Secret Service in Toledo, Ohio.

The award recognizes exceptional contributions to NCISS by members who characteristically are not in the forefront in terms of recognition.

Jimmie Mesis of Freehold, NJ, past president of the New Jersey Private investigator Association, NJPIA, and with his wife Rosemarie, owner of PI Magazine, a trade publication for private investigators. He is a licensed private investigator in New York and New Jersey. Mesis has served multiple terms as a Director and chair of committees on the NCISS Board of Directors. Most recently he served as chair of the NCISS Legislative Committee for Investigations.
